Maidwell provides a boarding education for children from countries around the world, as well as children whose parents work outside of the UK.
Overseas pupils enjoy exactly the same provision and opportunities as all boarding pupils.
During the regular (fortnightly) leave-out weekends, international boarders normally go to stay with family or guardians in the UK. During the main Christmas, Easter and summer holidays, most children will go back home to their parents, although some spend the holidays in the UK if this is more suitable.
We often find that international boarders choose to spend leave-out weekends and half-term holidays with the families of one of their school friends. These arrangements are made between parents rather than through the school, and allow many of our international pupils get to experience life with a UK family during the shorter school holidays.
