Headmaster's Personal Assistant
- £16.96 per hour
- Permanent
- Part time, term time (over 32 weeks, with flexibility to be discussed at interview)

Situated in the picturesque Northamptonshire countryside, Maidwell Hall offers a unique learning environment spread across 40+ acres of parkland, woodlands, a lake, and sports fields. The school, recently welcomed into the Uppingham Group of Schools, is entering a new and exciting chapter.
As the Headmaster's PA, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and warmth at the core of the school. Your responsibilities will include managing the Headmaster's office, coordinating his diary, and providing exceptional administrative and secretarial support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create an inviting atmosphere and ensure efficiency within the school.
- Organise the Headmaster's diaries to ensure smooth scheduling.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications
- Undertake secretarial and administrative duties as required.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and assist in organising interviews for academic vacancies.
- Work as part of a collaborative team across Maidwell and Uppingham School.
- Provide high-quality reception for VIPs, visitors, parents, and pupils.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a PA/Secretarial role.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills for interactions with various stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Excellent letter and email composition and proofreading skills.

Head of Mathematics

Maidwell Hall is looking for a focused, energetic and inspirational Head of Maths to manage a vibrant and thriving Mathematics Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher to lead and shape the maths provision across the whole school.
You will take full responsibility for this key department, playing a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the department. You will facilitate curriculum development and will raise the profile of the subject across the school, ensuring excellent teaching is delivered within the department. In addition to your departmental duties, you will also teach Maths to students from years 4-8, providing engaging lessons that fulfil the educational needs of all pupils.
About you
You will be an ambitious, knowledgeable and inspiring Teacher/Head of Mathematics, with a demonstrable love of the subject and the ability to convey this. You will provide previous experience of teaching Maths at Key Stage 2 and 3 and will ideally possess experience of teaching the CE syllabus and academic scholarship Maths. A willingness and ability to contribute to games and the wider active school life would be advantageous.
