MINIBUS ROUTES

Maidwell Hall currently offers two minibus routes, with the services running both in the morning and in the evening.

For this academic year (2023-2024), the service operates Monday to Friday, but is not available on Wednesday afternoons, and does not operate on Saturdays.

Charges

Each minibus service operates five mornings and four afternoons (no return journeys on a Wednesday), per week, a total of nine journeys.

The charge for each single journey is £54, per term. Each single trip, such as taking a morning bus, counts as one journey. A return trip, for example, a morning and afternoon round trip, counts as two journeys.

The charge does not adjust according to where the pupil boards the minibus. 

Booking

To book a place on either route, please email Maidwell's Transport Manager (transport@maidwellhall.co.uk) confirming:

• the route you wish to book on
• the names of the pupils who will be using the service
• which days of the week you wish to utilise the service
• whether you are booking morning, afternoon or both

Bookings are made and charged on a termly basis.

For example, a booking may be made for the morning journey on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday, and the afternoon journey on a Tuesday only. The charge for four journeys, for the term, is £216. The days and times of day selected are not interchangeable once the deadline for booking has passed. Once you have finalised your bookings for the term, the charges are non-refundable.

If a particular journey is not booked to collect or bring home any pupils, that service will not run for the term. This will not impact services that have been booked.

Transport App

There is a transport app available, which makes booking easier and also enables parents to track the location of the bus.

Additional Routes

If we do not yet serve your location but you would like us to consider it, please let us know. We intend to increase the fleet of buses in the future if there is demand.
