This year the Spratton Hall athletics meet included a team from Bedford Prep which certainly added to the competition. The Spratton team was as strong as ever and Bedford came a close second. We were very pleased to beat Wellingborough by a few points and thus not come last! The boys did very well and there were some notable results especially from the senior year groups. We won five events outright: Year 8 Hurdles (Pepe Barroso), Year 8 High Jump (Kai Sampo) and Year 7 Shot Put (Louis Hilton), Cricket Ball (Alexander Webb) and Under 10's Relay; Edward Ashton-Johnson nearly won the Year 7 High Jump but came second on countback. Our senior relay team did very well and came 2nd after Spratton  were disqualified.
