Twelve boys, eight fathers, three mothers and the Headmaster took on the challenge of walking from Buttermere to Ullswater via Great Gable, Scafell Pike and Helvellyn. The walk took three days, was 31 miles long and as usual all provisions, clothes, water, tents and cookers were carried in rucksacks. The challenge was completed with total success. The boys and parents were absolutely fantastic and we hope that we will have raised a significant sum for the Muir Maxwell Trust. |
