Following Common Entrance the leavers spent 6 days in Pembrokeshire as has become the custom. Based at the Whitesands Youth Hostel outside St David's their activities were mostly water based and the surfing and coasteering were very popular. Then on the day of Common Entrance results (everyone passed) they went to Oakwood which is the Welsh equivalent of Alton Towers and then in the evening they took the Ramsey Island Voyage of Discovery. On the final day they sailed and windsurfed at Dale followed by karting at Haverfordwest. The week was a great success despite some mixed weather and the youth hostel and beach nearby were an ideal location. Mr Edwins' coking went down a treat. |
