Drama
The School Revue at the end of the Summer Term is always a highlight of our drama season. The leavers, other intrepid volunteers and members of staff put together some light hearted entertainment for the benefit of the school, and plenty of acting and creative talent emerges. Crucially parents are not invited!
The main school drama production takes place during the Lent Term. Recent plays have included: Grimms Fairy Tales, Julius Caesar, and Unman, Wittering and Zigo. In 2006 our school musical was Smike based on Nicholas Nickleby. Last term's play was Lord of the Flies. We encourage as much participation as possible from a wide age range, and there is plenty of opportunity for sound, lighting, stage and set involvement for those who do not wish to act. At the end of each Summer Term there is a School Revue involving anyone who wants to perform; this focuses particularly on the leavers but members of staff also join in for a laugh.
