This was an excellent concert. The overall standard was impressive with very polished performances all round. We had a tremendous array of instruments represented and lots of different styles of music. Those who played solos or duets deserve particular congratulation; the dedicated practising that went on in the hours, days and weeks beforehand certainly paid dividends. We also had some notable choral performances from the church choir and two massed choirs with 76 boys in the final item; in each case the standard of singing was very high.
