As usual our annual Form I World Challenge Weekend took place at the Leadership and Outdoor Pursuits Centre at Buxton in the Peak District. The weather was dry but there was a cold N/W wind and we were pleased to see the sun come out on Saturday afternoon. We were split into three groups of 10 and Saturday involved climbing on Wind Gather Rocks and the high ropes and leadership course at the centre. On the Sunday we embarked on a challenging walk from the centre to the Goyt Valley and up onto Shining Tor. This was a 6-7 hour walk amounting to about 11 miles and everyone was well tired by the end. It was an excellent weekend which was very well led and organised by the team of World Challenge Leaders.
