On Friday 11th May we were honoured to host Marios Papadopoulos MBE and other members of The Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra for a special evening of music to raise money for the school’s new performance hall. Parents, pupils and other friends of the school were treated to ‘Gypsy Rondo’ by Haydn and Schubert’s ‘Trout’ from key members of the orchestra.
It was an inspirational evening for all, particularly the children, who were delighted to have the opportunity to hear world famous musicians playing at their school. They were also very excited to hear a rare Stradivarius violin played by the very talented violinist Natalia Lomeiko.
